Will these glasses help me to pass the Ishihara or other traditional color blind tests?

Wearing any tinted or colored lenses is not permitted while taking color blindness screening tests administered in a clinical environment or for occupational purposes. Doing so would invalidate the result and be considered cheating. Any colored or tinted lens or film may help increase contrast enough so you can identify the images in the Ishihara plate test.

EnChroma glasses are designed to improve your everyday experience by expanding your range of visible colors and helping you distinguish shades more accurately. They are not a cure for color blindness.

The best way to evaluate EnChroma glasses is to go outside, explore the world and see what you see differently. You can also wear EnChroma glasses to take our new cone isolation test to see how the glasses can improve your individual color sensing cone scores. You can read more about this new testing technique here.
